you probably escaped this crazy heat-wave, too, I heard the NW was nice & cool. I have friends who are still without electricity from the recent storms & it is nasty humid & steadily in the upper 90s.

Yeah the weather was decidedly cooler there. In the Redwoods we got a bit of everything - sunny the first day, rainy and humid the next couple of days. It was still cold as shit at night. Then I get home and it's in the 90s and unbelievably humid!

I actually don't know when I will be in New York but I assume it will be soon since everyone I know is either moving there or LA
