you probably escaped this crazy heat-wave, too, I heard the NW was nice & cool. I have friends who are still without electricity from the recent storms & it is nasty humid & steadily in the upper 90s.

Yeah the weather was decidedly cooler there. In the Redwoods we got a bit of everything - sunny the first day, rainy and humid the next couple of days. It was still cold as shit at night. Then I get home and it's in the 90s and unbelievably humid! :x

I totally would've hung out with you Robbie. We just didn't get too far south enough and not enough time. Maybe next time.

Yeah it will happen because when I'm in NYC I will hunt you down and buy you a beer

I actually don't know when I will be in New York but I assume it will be soon since everyone I know is either moving there or LA

So I've been contemplating shrinking the list of my favorites for a while now. Maybe my definite top ten or something. It's been a slog to say the least since the life tends to get in the way. Here is how it stands for now:

MY SO NOT DEFINITIVE TOP TEN FAVORITES

1 Les Amants du Pont-Neuf/Lovers on the Bridge (1991) - Carax

2 Sans Soleil (1983) - Marker
